More information for volunteers

On Mondays and Wednesdays, our team of volunteers clean the pantry, set up tables, chairs and eating areas (Monday Brekky Club) for any requiring a hot sit down meal.

Pantry volunteers work with organisations through other community outreach programs, picking up and delivering food donations and purchases from local businesses, bringing these items to ‘The Pantry’ several times a week for distribution.

Volunteers, whilst at ‘The Pantry’, prepare breakfasts (Monday Brekky Club), book in clients, deliver food hampers to recipients, prepare hamper bags, inventory and pack stock away.

At scheduled events (fundraisers), volunteers work to raise money for ‘The Pantry’ operations. Additionally, volunteers work to prepare luncheons and Christmas hampers and such for those in need.
